Furniture company
Rex Kralj was launched to continue legacy of the legendary Slovenian architect and industrial designer Niko Kralj. Niko Kralj has made an important contribution to the 20th century industrial design with minimal objects that are both functional and beautiful. Due to their timeless modernist forms Kralj’s products belong to the treasury of European design classics and are permanently featured in the MoMA in New York City. Based on the past, but designed for the future, architecturally inspired wooden Rex Kralj pieces honour principles of true craftsmanship while seamlessly fitting into modern interiors with their subtle mid-century meets industrial aesthetic.
Geometric lines meet smooth curves in the 1960 Chair. The fluent curves of the plywood are supported by a square frame, which creates a lightweight chair with vintage yet timeless feel. A well-shaped plywood seat enables comfortable sitting and makes this 60s inspired chair perfect choice for mid-century dining rooms and home offices.
The 1960 chair comes in two variations: natural oak and black oak.
