The modern vase in matte black color is handmade by JNŽ studio, Slovenia-based ceramics studio. The outside has a matt surface and the inside is glazed to ensure the vase is watertight. Each vase is unique handmade piece and can therefore have a slight difference in the appearance.

JNŽ studio is a ceramics studio from Slovenia, envisioned and created by Janža Dolinšek. As a maker of functional ceramic pieces, Janža prefers to focus on shapes and textures in her work, rather than colour. Her ceramics are thus an exploration of motifs that inspire her – and it is everything from interiors, architecture, photography and nature. Every single piece is lovingly handmade; not two pieces are exactly the same, making each of them completely unique.
