Marijke Buurlage is young illustrator from the north of Netherlands. She graduated from Minerva Academy Groningen and has been working as a freelance illustrator ever since. Her work is vibrant, light-hearted and feminine. She mostly works on editorial illustrations for magazines, children’s books, book covers and posters, but she also loves self-initiated side-projects resulting in unique washi tapes, notebooks and postcards.
