About the label

Established in 2020 by an architect and designer Jacqueline Gotcheva-Keil, ByJGK is a multi-disciplinary slow fashion brand working at the intersection of fashion, utility, and design. The Bulgarian-born & Berlin-inspired label is based in both Sofia and Berlin and operates as an in-house design collective built on the principles of luxury, classic style, and timeless design. The result are distinctive, utterly wearable luxury basics created of silk or jersey. In line with sustainable fashion practices, ByJGK uses a zero-waste production approach to make each garment especially for you.

Why do we love it?

Since its launch in 2020, the brand has been creating distinctive, utterly wearable luxury basics made of silk or jersey—the kind that all minimalists dream of and can never seem to find elsewhere. ByJGK’s commitment to sustainability begins with the careful selection of fabrics and innovative but lasting design. All garments are made of GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified silk or GOTS certified jersey made of organic cotton, silk, and a merino wool blend produced by one of the oldest weaving families near Venice, Italy. Every piece is then meticulously handcrafted upon your order in the ByJGK atelier in Bulgaria. All clothes are seasonless and trendless, ensuring you will be able to wear them for many years to come.
