Description

bellaOpera are Alja Fir and Anja Tomažič. They met in a quarry (while studying Design in stone) and decided to give it a go with common projects. First one was a collection of Milo za drago natural soaps, with a name that has an intriguing wordplay in Slovenian; it can either mean soap for my dear or revenge in the sense of an eye for an eye. Later the interests expanded so the name changed.

They are attracted to a broader field of design, arts & crafts and everything that can be handmade. They enjoy getting to know the material, learning new techniques or simply doing something that combines the perfected-through-time feeling with a modern twist.
