Kilim is a traditional hand-woven wool fabric. It can be used as a rug, a blanket, a bed cover or as a charming decoration for walls and windows. The Lejla kilim is designed by Slovenian duo Kobeiagi Kilims and hand woven in Bosnia and Herzegovina by a small community of women. Depending on the size of the kilim, it usually takes them between 2 to 6 weeks to finish your kilim.
Figures and colors of kilim rugs are closely related to the heritage and geographic areas. They could be considered as biographies that were written by nameless women authors. This one has most traditional line specific for Bosnia.
The Lejla kilim is handmade upon order. It is limited in availability and may take up to 6 weeks to produce.
