Founded by Slovenian architect and industrial designer Niko Kralj in 1952, furniture company
 Rex Kralj has become known for the contribution to 20th century industrial design. As a trained architect and an absolute pioneer in the field, Niko developed truly innovative pieces for the time and became one of the most important 20th century industrial designers in the world. Due to their timeless modernist forms, Kralj’s products belong to the treasury of European design classics and are permanently featured in the MoMA in New York City.
